Who we are?

California has made a bold, long-term commitment to high-speed rail as a foundation for a more connected, sustainable, and economically resilient future. As the first state in the nation to advance a true high-speed rail system, California continues to lead by investing in modern infrastructure that expands mobility, reduces emissions, and links communities across the state. The California High-Speed Rail Project, now well underway, reflects this vision and stands as one of the most ambitious transportation programs in the United States.

California High-Speed Partners—the joint venture of Colas Rail and RailWorks, together with AtkinsRéalis as an associated partner—is a fully integrated team formed to deliver the Track & Systems Construction Contract (TSCC) for California’s high-speed rail system.

Our team brings together global high-speed rail experience and North American rail transit construction leadership with proven capabilities in program management and systems integration. We collaborate seamlessly across disciplines to plan, design, integrate, and construct complex rail systems, managing interfaces and risks across the full project lifecycle—from early coordination through construction, testing, and commissioning.

A defining strength of our partnership is our long-standing experience working with leading high-speed rail systems original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Through decades of delivering major rail programs around the world, we have built trusted relationships with global suppliers of signaling, communications, traction power, and catenary systems—supporting effective integration, reliable performance, and safe system delivery.

United as California High-Speed Partners with AtkinsRéalis, we are committed to delivering a world-class high-speed rail system for California—one that reflects the state’s leadership, ambition, and vision for the future of mobility.
